1988
In 1988, a sick unit in Whitefield was taken over by the group, marking its entry into this field. At the time of takeover this unit had accumulated losses of over Rs. 70 lakhs. Within a short span of two years the entire losses were wiped out and the unit was converted into a profitable one.
1990
Vishwakarma Refractories Pvt Ltd was inducted as a part of Bhuwalka Premier Group of Companies. Started with a modest beginning, it has become a leading supplier of refractories to for steel, cement, glass and various other industries
1992
We took over a sick unit in Hosur from the Industrial Reconstruction Bank of India, Chennai. This unit now under Deccan Alloys Pvt Ltd is engaged in manufacture of a wide range of TMT Bar and Rolled Products like M.S. Flats, M.S. Round, M.S. Channel, M.S. Angles and M.S Squares.
1994 – 1995
In first full year of operations after takeover, Deccan Alloys Pvt Ltd achieved a turnover of Rs. 30 Crores. Before takeover the company had never crossed an annual turnover of Rs. 2 Crores.
1998
Bhuwalka Steel Industries (Sri Lanka) Ltd was established in Madampe, near Colombo, Sri Lanka with a manufacturing capacity of 25,000 TPA of billets and rolled steel products. It’s operations are limited to only Sri Lanka
2004
Our associate concern, Bhuwalka & Sons Pvt Ltd was incorporated in Karnataka as the groups trading wing to engage in trading of all types of steel and construction products
2004
Confab Steel was established in order to provide the Sri Lankan market with a wide range of rolled steel products & Tor steel. Today technically it is the largest manufacturer of TOR steel in Sri Lanka with the plant has an overall capacity of 144000 MT’s per annum. It’s operations are limited to only Sri Lanka.
2006
Bhuwalka Forging & Casting Ltd was set up as a unit of Bhuwalka Premier Group of Companies in Kolar, Karnataka. An upcoming foundry in the field of forging and casting, the company has a strong hold over the Indian and the overseas market.
2011
We took over Meenakshi Bright Steel Bars Pvt Ltd located at Hindupur, Andhra Pradesh. Now an associate concern of the group, this unit operates two divisions, furnace division and rolling division and has a capacity of 75,00 TPA of TMT Bars and M.S Rounds.
2012
The Group decided to shut down the Whitefield unit and join hands with Brigade for a joint venture project ‘The Brigade Bhuwalka Icon’. With this the group ventured into real estate through Bhuwalka Alloys Pvt Ltd.
